Is it possible to use SC 2040 together with SCXI-1142?

I want to perform acoustic measurements as well as measurements with Hot-wire anemometers (DANTEC). For the latter I need the S&H-modul SC 2040! For the acoustic I need low-pass filter (e.g. SCXI-1142) and simultaneous sampling. Is it possible to combine SC 2040 and SCXI-1142 (to save money) or should I prefer the SCXI-1531 for the acoustics?

The SC-2040 is an 8-channel, simultaneous-sampling, differential amplifier accessory for our 60xxE (E Series) DAQ products. The SC-2040 cannot be cabled to an SCXI module or chassis. If you are looking for simultaneous sampling and filtering using SCXI I would recommend the SCXI-1140 (which is the SCXI module equivalent of the SC-2040) cascaded with the SCXI-1142 filter. If you decide to just go with the SCXI-1531 it already has it's own bessel filter and cannot be cascaded to the SCXI-1142.
