PCI6251 impedance

Dear Doctor,

I am asking the impedance of PCI-6251M series (R).

We measured the amplitude of AC voltage (V_peak), which is steady sinusoidal.
And would like to know AC current (A_peak),
and average power ( P_average = V_rms*A_rms = (V_rms)^2/R = (V_peak)^2/2R ).

Hi Soobum,

According to the specifications given for the PCI-6251 card, the input impedance will be >10 GΩ in parallel with 100 pF and the output impedance will be 0.2 Ω. I am not entirely clear on what your application entails, but it sounds like you are using the device to measure the voltage of a circuit and would like to calculate some other characteristics of the circuit based on this measurement. In this case, you will probably need to have an idea of the equivalent resistance value of the circuit itself. Hope this helps,
