Hello,
I am trying to configure on MAX 18.0.0f0) a SCXI-1000 (with 3 SCXI-1162HV / connector SCXI-1349 / cable SHC-68-68-EPM), connected to a PXIe-6361 (on a PXIe-1078 chassis). While trying to auto-detect modules, I get a "Chassis is empty" message. In other words the SCXI is no being recognized.
I followed the "SCXI getting started" and I have already double chacked cables, SCXI-1000 address, voltage, etc. I have tryed to connect different PXIe-6361 and a PXIe-6341 (different slots). I have also tried different slots in the SCXI.
The PXI configuration is:
1 - PXIe-8820 / 2- PXIe-6361 / 3- PXIe-6361 / 4- PXIe-6361 / 5- PXIe-6341 / 6- PXI-6883H / 7- PXIe-6361
The driver is the NI-DAQmx 16.0.
Any kind of help would be welcome.
Thank you.

I forgot to say, I am trying to use parallel mode. Serial mode works fine.
Does the SCXI-1162HV works in parallel with the MIO DAQ board (PXIe-6361)?
Thank you.

Hey Cmnap002,
Unfortunately, you cannot use your PXIe-6361 and SCXI-1162HV in parallel mode. According to the the SCXI-1162HV User Manual "Only DIO DAQ boards can read the data from the SCXI-1162HV in parallel mode; MIO boards can only read from the SCXI-1162HV in serial mode."

Hi, Felipe
Thank you! I think I'll have to overcome this by making some kind of hardware timed buffered acquisition. By the way, do you know if it is possible to make such kind of acquisition from SCXI-1162HV in serial mode using the PXIe-6361?
Thanks.
