Reading SCXI Serial Number

Is it possible to read the Serial Number of an SCXI-1124 or SCXI-1125 using software? I am not sure if the serial number is even located anywhere in the SCXI module firmware, but for tracking purposes we would like to be able to read this info on the host computer.

I did try DAQmx and again with the VI on your link. The SCXI-1124 and SCXI-1125 devices return zero when reading the serial number property. The serial numbers for these devices are not displayed anywhere in MAX, so I question whether this information resides on the hardware at all.

If your devices are returning zeroes for the serial number property, then the number is not stored on the EEPROM...

I was able to read serial numbers off of my 1102s with this method...
