SCC2345 input saturates at 7 VDC

Hi,

I am using an analog input module AI03 which takes in a +/-10VDC and sends +/10VDC out in a SCC2345 box. Whenever I get above +7.231 volts or below -6.4 volts it saturates at those values.  In order to try to figure out where the problem is I got a Fluke 743B source, recently calibrated to NIST standards and everything to make sure I was putting in the right voltages.  The gain thru the thing is 1 and everything is happy till it saturates.  I tried different AI03 modules and a feed thru module in the same system and got the same result.  I then went to a different computer, different SCC2345 box but the same software.  +/-10VDC no problem.  I can't imagine the backplane is screwed up so it limits the voltage.

Please advise any thoughts.

Thanks

Hi 405,

Correct me if I am wrong, if you use one SC-2345 with SCC-AI03 your voltages saturate as mentioned.  When you used another SC-2345 you did not see this behavior?  If so, then try it on the original computer and see if the behavior persists.  If the set up is the exact same, then it sounds like a problem with your SC-2345.
