SCXI-1102 virtual channel reads OK but SCXI temp scan.vi does not

I am using a SCXI-1102, with a SCXI-1303 terminal block. I am not getting an accurate reading using SCXI Temperature Scan.vi. I am trying to use this VI with the channel string ob0!sc1!md2!0. As a test I configured a virtual channel 1102_0, for Deg F, min 0, max 100, J-type, and CJ Source Built-In. I am getting an accuarate reading with this channel. I will attach a VI showing this. I saved the last readings I got as the defaults so that the differences can be viewed. Can I get an advisement on what I need to do here. I do not want to use virtual channels because I want to give the use the choice of temp units, etc. Also, I have tried using the example program that ships, which is for u
sing an 1102 and reading thermocouples. This example is giving the same results as when I use SCXI Temperature Scan.vi.
I have called about this several times on another support request 7011362, and I have spent at least a full day on this problem, I need to get a solution, help is greatly appreciated. I will also attach a screen shot of the config on my virtual channel.

Hello Drew,

Use the SCXI-1102 Thermocouple.vi which can be found in the examples (Help>> Find Examples>> Hardware Input and Output>> DAQ>> SCXI)

Make sure the J Type thermocouple is selected and the CJC type is set to thermistor and not IC sensor. This will give you readings in Degrees Celsius.
