First I measured the room temperature value with one J type TC. It was reading correctly. So I decided to take reading of metal plate in non-heated condition, (i.e.,) at room temperature. I have connected 5 TCs to measure the metal plate temperatures. But I could not get the correct value. It is showing -320 deg C. Then I disconnected it, and checked again with one TC to measure room temperature , it was showing the same wrong value ( -325 deg C).
I am using SCXI 1000 along with SCXI 1300 as accessory. I reconfigured the SCXI 1300 many times, but in vain. Why this problem occurs? I have given the connections as per the manual of SCXI 1300, Pg 7.
