Strain Gage Calibration Wizard in MAX

Solved!
Go to solution

MAX V 4.6.0f1

I have 3ea 1/4 bridge strain gages connected to SCXI-1314/SCXI-1520.  The Strain Gage Calibration Wizard will only perform a reliable "Offset Null" if I create a global virtual channel for each individual gage.  If I create a NIDaq-MX task, none of the gages will "offset null" correctly.

This presents a problem because I use VI Logger.  The VI Logger only accepts tasks, not a collection of global virtual channels.  Why does the Strain Gage Calibration Wizard only work on individual global virtual channels?

I hate having to answer my own post, but:  The "Auto-Zero mode " must be set to OFF, not ONCE.  Apparently that throws the calibration askew.
