I have an 1102 I am reading in 32 channels of TC data with. Attached is a screen shot of a strip chart showing the data and as is evident there is narrow HF spikes in the data with a dT of 2 degrees. I say HF only with respect to the aquisition rate of 1 Hz. Any suggestions on how to quiet this down to 0.5 degrees of dT noise?

two options:
1- use a filter. A median filter is known as the spike 'killer' ...
2- find the root cause. analyse the setup& grounding (ground loops?) , increase the samplerate, look for EMC noise sources (power devices: pumps, heaters, the room ligth; RF devices:, .. ) , hook up a scope, look for correlations.
