Temperature measurement using switch and DMM

Hi,
I have a 4060 DMM and 1030 scxi multiplexer. I want to measure the temperature by scanning the mux channels. I tried to use the example vi, niSwitch Thermocouple Measurements.vi.

Is it possible to configure the example for the software trigger?

Hi Gopal,

Thank you for posting to the NI forums.  This functionality is possible.  Make sure to select the software trigger function for your trigger input.  On the other hand, you may consider using the “niSwitch DMM Switch Synchronous Scanning.vi” example and setting that up for thermocouple measurements.

Please post back if you have any further questions.

Hi,
I tried to use the synchronous scanning for temperature measurement.

I configure the scan list for 3 channels and initiate the measurements. But the number of measurements in the output equals the sample number.

Iam trying to connect 3 thermocouples and switch them to measure using DMM. I tried the SW trigger function and the measurement complete as None. What should I change in this to get my thermocouple readings?

Arun
