Thermocouple Measurement Using SCB-68

Hello,

I received error 200077 when configuring the thermo couple.  I read all relevant documents online, including Document ID: 3NAFKU9N entitled

"Error 200077 during Thermocouple Measurements with SCB 68", but I think this document was ment for another version (3.1) not (7.0).

Your proposed solution with my problems in bold italics.

Solution: 1. Right-click on the DAQ device that is attached to the SCB 68 for this task and select Properties. (I did if you mean the DAQ Assitant in the block diagram associated with our SCB-68 unit)
2. Select the Accesory Tab. (I can't find an accesory tab)
3. Ensure that under Accessory drop down box the SCB-68 is selected, then left-click the Configure button.
4. Under the CJC Configuration tab, ensure that the Temperature Reference Enabled checkbox is checked off.
5. Ensure that temperature reference sensor is enabled on the SCB 68. This can be found on page 4-3 of SCB 68 User Manual (Linked below)

Also, when connecting the Thermocouple does it matter where I connect the wires.  ie does the red go to AIGND and yellow to the channel ACH7, ect....

Thank you--Dan

In the knowledgebase, they are referring to Measurement and Automation Explorer when they ask you to right-click on the device that is attached to your connector block.
So if you open Measurement and Automation Explorer, browse to your device under devices and interfaces, you should be able to right-click and get to an accessories  tab.
