The SCXI 1102 and 1303 can only be used for analog inputs. Only the SCXI 1124 (analog output module) and the SCXI 1180 (feed through panel) are capable of producing an analog output.

Here is the user manual for the SCXI 1102. http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/320975a.pdf As you can see on page 3-2 there are only analog input pins. The user manual for the SCXI 1303 (http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/321923a.pdf page 1) states that the OUT pins are reserved for future use. Therefore, you can not use the OUT pins on the 1303.

I hope this helps.

Hi,
There is a section in the User manual of SCXI 1102/B/C which refers to Analog output signal connections(http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/320975b.pdf). But SCXI 1303 doesn't have any. Does that mean by having the terminal block, I cannot use the outputs of SCXI 1102.

Hi,

The SCXI-1102 is an input module, it doesn't support analog output. The analog outputs in the manual are for the communication of the module itself. So in this case it is not only the 1303 module that does not allow analog output. I hope this is helpful.
