Did you mean:

build ECG signal from statescope

Do to movement artifact, it is hard to get ECG signal from the ECG sensor which being attached to human body. So I planned to build the ECG signal from the statescope. That`s mean from the sound I get from the statescope, we build the signal. Any suggestion NI technology can I apply to do so?

the problem of artifacts seems to be solved/reduced by using some(?) more electrodes and calculations (analog or after ADC) IIRC an app note from NS,Linear or TI described a solution ..

Why do you espect less noise via a microphone?

Which of the ECG data do you expect to extract from the heart beat sound?
I'm not a cardiologist but I remember that most of the information is buried in the QRST(UV...?) timing...  Good luck !

thanks for the reply.

Urm actually I am also not a cardiologist. What method I want to approach is, I want to build the ECG signal from the heart beat. Is it possible to do that.

The method I plan to do is;

1. use the acoustic statescope

2. amplify the heart beat using microphone

3. build the ECG signal.

If let say I cannot build it, I just want to extract the R peak location to calculate the heart rate.

Hi anes_atica,

If you are just looking for the peaks, you can use the Peak Detection function to do so. There is more information in this thread.
