cant access scxi 1163r in labview

i created virtual channel for scxi 1163r in max and tested it and it worked fine. however when i tried to operate scxi 1163r in labview, it didnt work.
in labview, i tried to use the build in library for scxi 1163r which is "SCXI-1163(R) Digital Output.vi" file. it seemed to me that the problem was the sub vi which are "dio port config.vi" and "dio port write.vi". i use pcmcia daq board to connect the scxi and the chassis is scxi 1001. i also have an analog module on the chassis that connected directly to the daq board.

Hello,
I successfully ran the program, "SCXI-1163(R) Digital Output.vi" with the SCXI-1163R.

Here are the steps I followed:

1. I created a virtual channel and typed the virtual channel name in the port number control.
2. I ran the VI
3. I connected a DMM externally to channel 0 and COM (GND pin on the SCXI 1326).
4. I verified that the switch responded correctly based on the following logic:

The program states that when logic "1" is selected for a channel the switch is open between the selected channel and the COM. However that when logic "0" is selected for a channel the switch is close between the selected channel and the COM. For example in the "pattern to write" series of buttons, when a button is red it signifies a logical "1" which me
ans that channel is not connected to COM.

Steps to Try:

Please run a connectivity test on the channels of interest. If the system is returns an error code or you need clarification on the above instructions, please let me know.
