It should say on the LV8 splash screen that hangs around forever (frozen splash? ) when you start LV.

Hello kirkland4,

You can check what package of LabVIEW 8.0 you have in the LabVIEW splash screen, under Help > About LabVIEW.  In the top-right, it should list the Name, Company, Serial Number, and the version of LabVIEW you are licensed for.  Another good place to check all the National Instruments software you have installed on your system is in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) under the Software category.  This will show all NI programs and drivers including version numbers installed on your system.
