how many scc-tc02 modules can i install into a sc-2345 interface

I need 10 channels of thermocouple input. I get an error when i instal scc-tc2 modules in J1 and J9. Am i limited to 8 channels? if so can i have 2 daq cards installed in the same computer at the same time?

Hi wag,

J9 is used for digital I/O or second stage AI, that is the likely reason why you're obtaining an error. You should use J2 for your second module instead. Since the TC-02 module uses two channels (for TC measurement and CJC), hence when you use 8 of these modules, you're using 16 AI channels of your DAQ device. If you need to use 10 TC-02 modules simultaneously, the M Series devices with 32 channels will allow you to do so with only one board. Please see the article below:
