how to configure SCXI 1102 module for 4-20 mA signal

Hello
can any one help me to configure my scxi1102 with scxi1303  terminal block to read 4 -20 mA readoing . do i need to have any resistance to measure the ouptput in DAQ.

You have to connect a resistor across the terminals to convert the current signal to voltage. A 500 ohm resistor will give you a 2-10V signal range.

thanks for ur reply
But as far i know its mentioned in maual that scxi1102 accept current as well as voltage input. so cant i directly use my current input to disply it in my labview program using daq assistant.
 if not can u please give a wiring diagram( as i am a mechanical engg) i am not able to grasp it.

Yes, but you have to install resistors, see page 2-4 & 2-5 in the manual (also available on the net: http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/320975b.pdf

have any luck?  This should be very simple fix with the $10 resistors from NI, but I'm concerned if the type of terminal block is an issue.
