how to connect a low pass filter to the analog input terminals of CB68LP

Hi,

I am very new to Data Acuqistion process. So far I have been using the system that already set up by seniors in the Lab. Now I have to replace BNC2090 with CB68LP. As a part of signal conditioning there is a 36kHz Low Pass filter connected to an Analog channel0 of the BNC2090. My question is how do i connect the Low pass filter with CB68LP?

Thanks,

Venkat

PCIe6251,

What card are you using? Can you connect the Low Pass filter to the terminal corresponding to the analog channel of the card that you have? The CB68LP is a terminal block, you should be able to connect your low pass filter in a similar way.

Thanks William!!

The card I have been using is NI PCI-6034e. And the conditioning box is BNC2090. But I want to replace BNC with CB68LP which doesn't BNC connectors for Anlog channels.

Actually my job is to acquire fluoroscence images from PhotonMAX CCD camera using the NI card. As a part of that, Camera Read-out port is connected to ACH0 of BNC box through BNC connector and then low pass filtered @35Hz before going to NICard.

Thanks,

Venkat

Venkat,

Is this an external low pass filter? Look for a BNC to wire connector.
