pool temperature measurements

I am looking for a low cost solution to measure and acquire (Windows XP)my pool and hot tub temperatures, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

How about a temperature to frequency converter and use the Printerport or the stereo sound input to read two channels?

Good answer, Henrik! That is definitely a possible solution.

Another solution may be to use a low-cost National Instruments DAQ board to acquire a signal from a temperature sensor (like a thermistor or RTD). A PCI DAQ board such as the PCI-6013 may prove to be a good solution for you. A link to the product page for this board is below:
