Generation of pulse by using NI-PXI-5421 FGen

Hello Sir/Madam,

Question:

We are using the Funktiongenerator NI-PXI-5421 and simply want to generate a pulse, as it can be done by almost every cheap Funktiongenerator.

Unfortunately, I can't find a way to tell the Funktiongenerator to generate a pulse. I can generate Singals as I like but don't know how to generate a single pulse.

Do you maybe have a program which gives me this possibility?

Hi Jens,

you could try to use scripting of the 5421 board. The following LabVIEW examples:"Fgen Arb Script.vi" or "Fgen Switch Between Waveforms.vi" use scripting to generate waveforms, you could create similarly a script that generates a single DC high level pulse.

You might also want to ask the moderator (Options>Report to Moderator) to edit your post to remove your serial number. It may already be too late but why should you let the entire world use your serial number to authorize their LabVIEW? Never, ever publish a LabVIEW serial number in a public forum!
