We are testing out PCI-5401 Arbitrary Function Generator. Our application requires external triggering of User waveform.

In the FGEN Soft Panel, I have configured a Sinc waveform, which displays nicely on an oscilloscope when in Immediate trigger mode. Software trigger also works. Unfortunately, External trigger does not seem to work. We are supplying a TTL pulse to pin 25 (EXT_TRIG) of the Pattern Out connector.
Any ideas?

Which cable are you using to access the trigger line?

On the SHC50-68 cable, the external trigger input is actually on pin 34 of the 68-pin side.

If you are going directly into the 50-pin connector, you are correct that it is on pin 25.
