how to separated ai gnd and ao gnd

Because out company's product need the input gnd (acgnd) and output gnd(0v).

How can I separate the ai gnd and ao gnd?

Our device is NI USB 6218.

Thank your response

What do you mean separate? You want to physically cut the traces on the board?

p.s. What does your question have to do with NI Signal Generators?

   Hi

The input is acgnd. It means Ov.

         The output gnd is -1V.

Thus, we shifted whole voltage up 1V, thus, output acgnd will become 1v offset and output gnd become 0v.

The physically cut the traces on the ni device board is one way.

Does it have any way to do it?

Sorry, but I do not understand what you are saying. Input and output of what? Maybe you could draw a circuit to explain what it is you are attempting to do.

As far as I know, you would have to physically cut traces on the board and of course that would void the warrenty.

Hi

  Here is the circuit.

I think I should say the input uses acgnd as reference and output uses ground as reference.

acgnd is about 0V and output ground is about -1V.

It has a resistor divider between input and acgnd.

The best way is separated the input ground(acgnd) and output ground.

But as I use meter to test the those two points in NI device, it is short.

Do we have any method except cut the trace on the board?

  Thank your help.
