square wave genearator

Hi All,

I just bought NI USB 6009 and now I need one simple signal generator (external clock +5vsignal) for my microcontroller (+ 1Mhz). Is it possible to use my usb6009 to do it, with programming in VB or VI?

Thanks

Hello,

Please post this under Multifunction DAQ forum for better response. USB-6009 is Mult-function DAQ card.

Here is the link to Multifunction DAQ Card

Hi Chrs,

Your USB-6009 does have two analog output lines on it, and they can drive 0 - 5V.  However, it has a maximum update rate of 150S/s and thus will not be able to provide the 1MHz frequency you need.  I would suggest an M-Series DAQ device for your applications.
