Auto zeroing VI for SignalExpress?

Hi

Has anyone got a functioning auto zero (nulling/tare) VI that can be used for signal/channel zeroing in SignalExpress that they would be willing to share? I need to zero out null offset on displacement transducers, and making a custom scaling for every transucer on every data aquisition is not an option because of time limitations.

Regards.

I don't have an auto zeroing VI but I can certainly cast my vote on the necessity for one!

I struggle everyday with this. Some tests I use upwards of 12-15 displacement transducers. Creating a custom scale for 15 channels takes me over an hour; and that's using keyboard shortcuts.

2011 budget submissions are being submitted for review this quarter. I'm seriously considering making a shift to some other (non-NI) DAQ software for this very reason.

PCI 6281 DAQ card
SCXI- 1520 Bridge Board w/ 1314 Terminal Block (x2)
SCXI- 1180 Feedthrough Panel w/ 1302 Block

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. We use a lot of displacement and force transducers that needs to be zeroed often. Up til now we've been using HBM Catman software and HBM Spider8 hardware, but we're now in an evaluation period with NI software and hardware, and having no auto zero function is just a pain in the ass.
