HI,
Iam using LABVIEW SigNal Express to genErate a mouse ECG.
I hooked up tWo alligator clips to the mouse and connected them to a differential amplifier. The output goes through a USB-6008 NI DAQ board to my PC. I get a nice ECG graph on my PC, but now I would like to generate sound as well.
Any idea how I should do this with Labview Signal Express?
Thanks,
Charlotte

Hi Charlotte,
What you want is definitely possible in Signal Express, although we recommend that you use LabVIEW as it's much more robust. You may find LabVIEW or ECG Signal Processing useful for your application.
Essentially what you are asking for is an analog output. The following article Software Timed Analog Output in Signal Express for USB-6008/6009 shows an example of how you can define a software timed waveform to output.
Please let me know if it helps you.

Hi Charlotte, I just realized that NI USB-6008 only does AO at 150S/s. For your application, I would suggest using either NI USB-6211 or NI USB-6212, both have maximum AO sample rate 250kS/s.
