i have a quadrature decoding counter continuous acquisition task in SignalExpress that works and displays data correctly in a scalar graph display. I need to display the value in a gauge or meter, but when I try to add the counter out signal to a gauge or meter, SignalExpress crashes. When I add the signal to a large digital display, the display shows a list of most recent individual samples. The only processing steps that are available for the counter signal is time-domain statistics. If I apply a mean function to the signal, I get an average over the entire history of the signal that does not move. How do I condition the counter signal for indication on a gauge or meter display?
