Prevent Signal Express auto run

I just installed LabVIEW 2012 SP1, and now the Signal Express application runs itself randomly. Is there a way to prevent that?

What exactly do you mean by "runs itself randomly"? Does it just open up randomly when you're using your computer, or is only when using LabVIEW? I have never ran across this issue before so I just need a little clarification so we can get to the bottom of the problem.

After a little more use, I found that it auto-runs whenever a DAQ device is detected.

I'de like for Signal Express to run only when user selects it. Thanks Dan.

So that just means the automatic startup is enabled, and this can be easily changed. The following KnowledgeBase article addresses this exact issue:
