Processing the logged data

I am trying to process my logged data. I recorded the data @1.7kHz for 5 minutes which results into total 510000 samples. When I tried to load the data (ascii/txt file) for filtering, the x axis of loaded data says its time in seconds whereas it actually plots the number of samples on x axis. So x axis limit on the plot is 550k which are number of samles and not the time.  It then messes up with filtering function since it thinks i have data for 550k seconds whereas its just the data for 300 seconds taken at 1700Hz. Is there any way to fix this.

Thanks!!

When you saved the signal, did you follow the steps here?

Kyle, thanks for the reply. I open up the project go to left bottom of the window where it shows the logged data folders, select the individual signal and then convert it to the ASCII file and save it to the same folder.  And then I tried to open it up with signal express and it gave me the problem as i described in my last post. I tried opening up the tdms files (after reading the article for which you gave me the link), it opens up fine. but I can not see the whole data at a time. I added filters and subset/resample steps and then copied the filtered and resampled data, I figured that it did filtering and resampling for just one second. How do I work around this. Basically, how do I load my tdms/ascii data and process the whole data at one instance.

Click on the Import Signals tab of the Load from ASCII step.  On the right of this tab are several controls which allow you to set the sampling interval (User specified dt) and units.  These should allow you to take care of your issue.  I realize this is a less-than-ideal solution.  We are working on it.
