Recording options; 6 sec every 15 min. But need to start immediately not 15 min from now

This is the first time I've had a chance to use the Recording Options.

I'm trying to acquire 6 seconds of data every 15 minutes unattended. I've set my Start Condition to "Date/Time" and Schedule Start Time to "Hourly" with the interval being 0:15:00. Start Logging is set to "Immediately"

Stop Conditions is set to "Duration" with duration= 6sec.

However when I start logging it waits the 15 min before it takes the 6 seconds of data.

Is there a way to log the 6 seconds of data immediately after hitting RUN (as the Start Logging condition implies) THEN log every 15 min after that?

Hello OKors,

Rather than setting the start condition to 15 minutes, I would recommend setting it to 0 minutes (start immediately), and then set a Stop Holdoff of 15 minutes, so that it waits 15 after the recording stops before checking for the start condition.  I think that will accomplish your goal.
