Signal will not display on charts

I developed a project in Signal express, ran the test, collected data. Everything was fine at first. Saved the project, opened it the next day. Recorded data ok, chart view will not plot signals. Checked the properties pallet, all seems ok. Data is plotting in "Table" view.

Hi,

What version of SignalExpress are you using?

Also, can you let me know what you're project does so that we can try to reproduce this? Maybe even include the project...

Thanks,

Phil

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the reply! The project is a simple AI input logger monitoring PSI, Torque, CFM, RPM. When I record, all the data is fine. It's just when I switch to "Data view", there are no visible data lines / curves being displayed. The charts are showing values. I can see them updating in auto scale. Here's the project. Take a look, (excuse my "greeness" to SE).

Thanks.

Hi Ray Ray,

As you change over to the Data View did you add your signals to the plot? You should be able to find your signal in the left pane and drag it over into the plot window to add it. This should display the signals in the Data View. It sounds like you are correctly making your measurement and you just need to add the signal to the graph.

Thanks for the info. I have the signals assigned to the channels selected. When I run the vi you can see the X-axis time stamp moving forward and the data being displayed on the table view. It's like the charts are hiding the plotted data.  Go figure?

Hi Ray Ray,

You are trying to display the data you are acquiring, but you are only plotting one point. The display is being refreshed and a single point for each channel is plotted. You should change your task so that it acquires multiple points and you will see a signal in your Data View.
