How can I setup SignalExpress to communicate with the cDAQ-9188 module? I found the system in MAX but I can see no device connected in the Channel View.

The cDAQ-9188 is a chassis. What modules do you have in it? It is the modules that will show up in SignalExpress.

Thanks for the reply, do I have to have LabView to run SignalExpress?
I have 2 NI 9205 and 3 NI 9221 modules inside the cDAQ9188 chassis. All modules can be seen in MAX but not from SignalExpress 2012.

Hi Runner,
I'm not sure if it was caused by DAQmx driver. What's the version of your DAQmx driver? When I use MAX to simulate 9221 then it can be displayed in SignaleExpress in Add Channels to Task of DAQmx Acquire step.

Here is the software version display from MAX. I switched to SignalExpress 2010 becasue this is the one that come with the hardware.

Hi Runner,
I saw there is nothing in your channel view, could you please check the version of your NI-DAQmx driver from Control Panel>>Uninstall a program>>National Instruments Software?
Here is my channel view:
And here is the version of NI-DAQmx:
You can download the latest DAQmx driver here: https://www.ni.com/en/support/downloads/drivers/download.ni-daq-mx.html

Hi Runner,
Could you please try to install NI-DAQmx 9.5 or above? I thinke NI-DAQmx 9.2.1 is only support SignalExpress from 2.x to 2010.

I installed DAQmx 9.5.1 and still not working.
When I run the self test, I got an error message - Error -201388 occured at self-test

Runner.
Do you have any other devices connected? Are you trying to access the chassis from multiple programs?
