generating a wave that is an addition of fundamental and second harmonic of a sine wave 50 hz

hello,

i have tried to generate a wave that if broken into components will show only 50 hz and 100 hz after fft.

But by simply merging signals (from simulate signal) and perform fft it will output there magnitudes as two diffrent channels,

i have tried a solution to it by first converting simulate signal ,dynamic data(from ddt ) and then adding both signals and then again convert them to ddt. and tried to perform fft on resulted signal but it didnt worked please help me....

ryuzaki,

You dont neccessarily convert from dynamic and then to dynamic again.

Check out this knowledge base article for converting the waveform dt. I think it may solve your issue.
