trigger - signal express

hello

i use signal express 2010 on window vista

i have USB - 9162 and NI 9234

i need to measure load cell

i have to do it by : pre-triger of 0.1 sec

i canot do it becouse there is not and option to trigger in the triggering tab.

please advice me whta to do

Hi,

You wont be able to do triggers with the USB-9162 and NI 9234. The USB-9162 does not have the capabilities to perform digital triggers; it does not have an PFI lines. The NI 9234 doesn't have the capabilities to do anolog triggers. Here is a KnowledgeBase that talks about C series analog input modules and analog triggering.

You can use software trigger. That only only trigger when you click the Trigger button on the top toolbar of LabVIEW SignalExpress.

do you think that software trigget (by using executing  comtrol -> add trigget )

is accurate enough for modal testing ?

i need to measure the hummer load.

How are you going to set-up your software trigger? What do you mean by accurate? You can also find more information about triggers, start conditions and stop conditions.
