x-axis time doesn't match PC system clock

Hi,

I'm using SignalExpress 3.0. The problem occurs with both DAQ devices I have (USB-6008 and USB-6229).

When I'm logging data while viewing the data on a chart the time shown on the x-axis doesn't match the time on the PC system clock. If I do an ASCII export the time stamp in the export file matches the time that SignalExpress shows on the chart.

The difference between the real time and the SignalExpress time doesn't even seem to be constantly different.

Can anyone help or suggest anything to try??

Mike

Hi Mike,

Can you clarify a couple of points for me -

The PC System Clock you refer to, do you mean the time and date that Windows displays to you?

And when you say the difference between real time and SignalExpress time is not constantly different, do you mean between acquisition runs? or within the same acquisition run?

SignalExpress, like LabVIEW, has three timebase options that can be displayed, some information about them can be found in the help file, also online here.
