yiweihua2002:

Thank you for the information.  I will try to reproduce it here.  In the meantime, can you tell me if this error occurred during initial run of the installer (before the feature tree was displayed)?  Perhaps it occurred when copying files late in the install?

Thanks,

Brian

Thank you for the screenshot.  Can you please run the following from the Switch Executive cd?

d:\distribution\setup.exe /l*v c:\nise.log

This will rerun the installer and log progress to c:\nise.log.

Please post the log file.

Thank you,

Brian

p.s. I am not an AE.

Hi yiweihua,

I apologize for the delay in providing a reply to your last post.  Can you attempt updating your installer to the newest setup.exe?  I've attached the two needed files in mif24.zip.  The procedure is to replace setup.exe and NISysInf.dll in your distribution with these newer parts, and then try again.  Please acquire the specific error message if another one appears during this updated installation.

Thanks!

Hi yiweihua,

As an alternative to providing my email address on the forum, is it ok for me to email you?  With your permission, I can request your email address.  If this is not ideal, is it possible for you to contact support with your questions?

The best option might be to have you post your questions to the forum (though on a new post).  That way others can benefit from them in the future!

No matter what option you select, please let me know how we can assist you.  Thanks!
