scxi 1127

Hi

I just want to make sure on a fewthings on the scxi 1127.  The inputs are differential readings. (250V max) . The output voltage is the differential voltage?

For example.

My high voltage is 10V and low is 9V so the output of the scxi 1127 will be 1V.  Is this Correct?

Thanks

Hi Dchen,

This module is purely a switch module based on electromechanical relays, there is no signal conditioning on this module at all. The answer to your question though depends on what you have after this switch module. If you set this module up in 2-wire mode for differential signals, in your case +10V and +9V what you will seeon the other side of the switch module will be +10V and +9V w.r.t. ground but you will see +1V if you measure the +10V line w.r.t. the +9V line. I'm thinking though that you may need an additional module to convert the differential signal into a single ended signal of +1V w.r.t. ground.

Hope this helps,

Nick
