This includes the newly released version shipped with SystemLink Client 2025 Q1. If you use the Test Monitor Client plugin for reporting test data through SystemLink, you have the following options at this time:
If you rely on the SystemLink Test Monitor Client plugin to upload test result data to SystemLink, do not upgrade to TestStand 2024 Q4.
TestStand 2023 Q4 and TestStand 2024 Q4 may be installed side by side. TestStand 2023 Q4 is compatible with SystemLink Test Monitor Client Plugin 2024 Q1. If only TestStand 2024 Q4 has been installed, install 2023 Q4 and re-run the SystemLink Client Installer. Ensure the “Test Monitor Client plug-in for Test Stand” is selected.
If you have a critical reliance on new features in TestStand 2024 Q4, such as .NET 8 and Python virtual environment support, but wish to store and analyze test result data in SystemLink, alternative solutions will be necessary. Uploading results through the SystemLink APIs via a custom application may be an appropriate consideration.
The next releases of TestStand and the Test Monitor Client plugin are expected to regain full compatibility. This is a temporary situation that will be resolved as quickly as possible.

To provide additional clarity to the last statement that "This is a temporary situation that will be resolved as quickly as possible"; support is actively in work and a SystemLink Client 2025 release that provides full compatibility will be released soon. I will respond here with an update as soon as an expected release date has been solidified.

Hey Everyone,
Quick update here. We will be releasing TestMonitor plugin support for TestStand 2024 Q4 with SystemLink Client 2025 Q1 Patch 1. Our current go-live date for the patch is February 24th, but we'll post it sooner if possible.
