Hello,
We are experiencing an issue and would like to know if there is a good way to 'backup' or workaround a slight issue regarding OPC UA connections. (We are using SystemLink 2020 R1)
Late at night we lost a connection of one of the OPC UA connections to our SystemLink server, and it usually will automatically reconnect once the connection has been re-established. Today that is not the case.
We have tried two things to refresh the OPC Client to see if this will reconnect:
1. Using the NationalInstruments.SmConsole.exe to Stop and Start the OPCClient
2. Resetting the actual PC hosting our SystemLink Server.
My question is, is there a sure shot way to make sure this OPC connection doesn't have to manually be reconnected to our SystemLink Server? We are using these OPC clients to write quite a bit of tags that control a system within the facility.

I have solved my own problem (how nice).
It appears for some reason our OPC Server reset itself last night (or the PC) and had reinitialized using the same address as another OPC Server communicating with the SystemLink server. We resolved this issue and all is well.
