I am experiencing the error "The request to get channel data timed out." when attempting to plot numeric channel data with 5E6 samples. Yes, that is a lot of channel data values. How can the timeout duration be adjusted so that the error will not appear?

Where you selecting one file or multiple files and how many channels per file?

I went back into SystemLink and viewed the single file again using the File Viewer. The error / timeout behavior is very inconsistent. The best way to replicate the error / timeout is to first assign the time channel (Set X-Channel), and then click on the channel group so that all 13 channels (including the time channel) are selected at the same time. I posted a sample file to ftp://ftp.ni.com/incoming named "numeric_12ch_x_5E6_samples.tdms".

Hello,
I dug into the file and unfortunately, channel 'MeasurementChannel_4' cannot be fully read and returns errors. Looks like the file is corrupt or truncated.
The other channels work correctly. if you open the table at the bottom of the File Viewer, it should show the first 500 values from channel 4 successfully.

Sorry about the file problem. I recreated the file, and uploaded it as "SystemLink_19_5_File_Viewer_Graph_timeout_error.zip" to ftp.ni.com/incoming/
Please try looking at the file again and see if you can experience the timeout error.
