Robo Rio 2.0 stopped working

At our most recent event, our Roborio 2.0 stopped working, causing us to miss one of our matches. Troubleshooting with the volunteers led us to reformat the micro SD card and even replace it, which did not solve our issue. It came to the conclusion that the problem lied with the rio and we were lent one for the rest of our competition.

I'm Steven from NI. I'm sorry about the problems you're getting with the RoboRIO 2.0.

As you've already changed and reformatted the SD card another recommendation would be to turn the device upside down and shaking it vigorously and then check with a flashlight for material making contact in the port pinouts.

Moreover, open the device by removing the cover from the bottom (4 screws) and clean it using compressed air, especially in the SD card slot.

After trying the steps above let us know the status of the LED lights on the device.

Did as suggested and nothing changed, status light keeps flashing and our RSL does not turn on.
