RoboRio Short light on no matter what

Hi NI,

Our RoboRio has its power LED constantly on red, unless booted into safe mode. We have tried everything, including blasting it with compressed air, taking off the case and moving the plastic pin sheilds, and moving ports on our power distribution panel. We have tried everything and nothing has fixed it. We have a competition scheduled for next weekend, and we cannot drive the robot without the RIO. Thank you NI, and I hope that we can fix this easily.

Thanks for using the NI forums and detailing the steps you have already tried to fix the condition in your device.

If the power LED is still red after a deep clean of the device, it is likely there is permanent damage in one of the components that is causing the short.

If the device is in a state where you can still connect to it from the driver station, you should be able to see which rail is showing the problem: FRC Driver Station Tutorial: Power & CAN Tab
