Roborio 2 error when sd card installed

We are experiencing an issue with a roborio 2 where the Rio will not power on correctly if a microSD card is inserted. We have tried multiple microSD cards, and have verified that they work on a different robo Rio. Tye power light turns red after 8 seconds when booting the roborio with the card inserted.

A solid red power light means that the device has detected a short and entered protection mode. Open the device using the four screws on the back and the two screws at the port port and clean the unit off using compressed air. (Maybe also use a flashlight to inspect the board closely for any remaining metal shards and remove them as well.)

Once this is done, the device should be able to properly boot with an SD card inserted.
