I here a lot of talk about people using powerpoint to make custom controls. This seems great because I have powerpoint and would like to spend some time creating custom controls. The problem is I have no idea how to go about doing it! Does anyone have a link or or example or prior experience with this that they could share?

There is a PowerPoint file you can download here. If you look at the file you will see a number of images, each representing the different states of an action button. The buttons are easily drawn up using the Auto-Shapes features in PowerPoint 2007. The corresponding LabVIEW .ctl files are there also.

I don't know if everyone already knows about this article, but NI has a knowledgebase article on creating custom control and it is pretty detailed.
Now if we can just get some graphic artists to start making more sweet themes with every control type in the package...
