I've borrowed a NI-USRP-2954R to test it for a new project. We need to use GNUradio on Linux because the script needed in the project is ready made for our application. It was successfully used by others with Ettus USRP-N210.
I've installed a fresh Ubuntu 20.04, GNUradio and drivers provided by NI following the tutorial. The PCIe card used is 8371 model. Everything runs fine, despite my concern about the PCIe card. When I connected the USRP it was recognized by the NI Config utility but the message is "Unsuported". I check the link provided, and indeed, the 2954R is unsuported on any Linux version.
What to do next? I don't want to change anything in hardware because i need to return the SDR in the initial state.
