Some years back I used my NI USRP 2943R and LabVIEW for an RF communications project in connection with completing my MSEE degree. I’ve now become interested in learning more about SDR radio programming, especially for quadrature modulation modes, and am curious about community library availability of LabVIEW functional modules for SDR communications.
I’ve learned that the GNU Radio community offers an extensive library of SDR radio functional modules that can be used to construct SDR radio functionality for a wide variety of communications modes, including drivers for the Ettus Research USRP X310, and would include such functions such as quadrature modulation/demodulation, sampling, filtering etc. This would require reflashing my USRP 2943R (made by Ettus Research for NI as an OEM product) with the correct firmware image to be compatible with the X310 programming environment.
Instead of doing that, could someone please advise me as to whether a library of LabVIEW-coded SDR communication modules with similar capabilities to GNU Radio is available from the NI community for programming the NI USRP 2943R?
