For wireless transmission, yes, you will need an antenna.

You can also use the device for wired transmission, over a coaxial cable.

now, i want use my USRP card (USRP 2900) with Labwindows CVI, that is possible ? there is already library or driver for usrp on CVI? i have not found anything yet.

Hi MP, 

If you are looking to use the USRP 2900 with text-based programming languages, you can use the Ettus UHD driver (USRP Hardware Driver), which supports C/C++ and should be usable with CVI. The NI-USRP driver is only supported in LabVIEW, LabVIEW NXG, and LabVIEW Communications software environments, as is noted in the NI-USRP 18.5 Readme.
