usrp 2901 with gnuradio

I want to use NI USRP 2901 with gnuradio.

I have searched  and I found that I need to update the FPGA image and firmware.

I found these instructions for the NI 292X

What are the equivalent instructions for the NI 2901 (connected using USB not ethernet)?

Where can I obtain the FPGA image and firmware?

Hello, 

First, have you confirmed the USRP 2901 USB Connection in the USRP Configuration Utility?  You can take a look starting on page 6 of the 'Getting Started Guide' of the USRP 2901:

There are several threads in the past talking about using the USRP with GNU Radio. Please take a look at these threads and see if Sarah Y provided enough information about the FPGA images and firmware for you to get started.

It turned out that the UHD version I had was old, I updated my UHD version to the latest. It automatically loaded the correct FPGA image and firmware. Now it i is working fine with gnuradio.

You should only install a new version of UHD. The first time you try to use the USRP, UHD will automatically load the FPGA image and firmware.
I did not use NI-USRP Configuration Utility.
