I have a VXIpc-871 that is a Pentium II, 450 Mhz processor. I've tried replacing the existing Fujitsu MHH2064AT 6.4GB hard drive with a newer Seagate 40 GB hard drive, but the VXIpc cannot see the new Seagate. The BIOS version is National Instruments version 1.0. On a slightly newer VXIpc-871 that has a Pentium III 446 Mhz processor and NI BIOS version 2.0 can see it just fine. Both machines are running WinNT 4.0. How can I get the older VXIpc to recognize the new hard drive?
