PXI-8320 MXI-2 software/hardware install problems.

Attempting to install a PXI-8320 MXI-2 bridge. My PXI chassis is connected to a PC via a PCI-PXI MXI-3 bridge. I have just received a new PC running Windows XP with Labview 7.1. I cannot find the MXI-2 interface in Measurement Explorer. I do get a find new hardware for the PXI board, but it cannot install a driver. As far as I know, all of the appropriate software was pre-installed. I am stumped. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you installed NI-VXI? The MXI-2 interface requires our VXI driver, NI-VXI, which is not automatically installed with LabVIEW. The latest version is available on our web site at http://www.ni.com/support/vxi/drivers.htm.
