Console Viewer's multiple screens content

Solved!
Go to solution

I would like to expand the Console Viewer so that I can see screen output anterior to the last screen visible. It updates too quickly and I cannot see the first messages in the first few screen. The Console tool has a Hold Screen button, however I do miss the screen I wants, and the whole console windows may may not be accessible when the Running Project pop up is running at deploy time... so as a result I cannot catch the messages in the console. Any way around this?

Thx.

open a web browser and type in the ip of your target. There is a console viewer button there that has a scroll bar

You'll need NI Web-Based Monitoring and Configuration installed on the target and Microsoft Silverlight installed on the host for that.  Did I just add to the big man's post Smiley Wink

VeriStand's built-in console viewer pre-dated the web browser console viewer, but I have to say the new browser version is superior. Make sure to check the auto-refresh box so you keep getting updates without refreshing the whole page.

just FYI, i've noticed auto refreshing causes serious PCL jitter at constant 1s intervals. no idea why... but just FYI. drop an hp loop duration graph to see it
